Yesterday I was tidying my room a bit and I discovered a poem I wrote some years ago in my twenties. I don't remember what year. If you want to share this poem, please remember my name to it.
Faithfulness from God
By Stacey Moy
I will always be there for you
To comfort you
To love you
Even if you sin
I love you, Child.
I'll be by your side
When you face evil
When you are surrounded
By your enemies
I will never leave your side.
I will always wait for you
To take the daily lessons together
Know me better
How much I love you
And how to live a good Christian life.
If you neglect me,
Waiting for you to come back
To me.
I will never abandon you
For I love you, Child.
I was probably praying to God and this poem came out of me. It was a compilation of my Bible Studies, prayers and worship and where my relationship with God was. I just want to highlight that God loves his children so much and he would never abandon them. He is always by your side. When you face challenges or hardships, he is with you going through it with you. Sometimes we all feel guilty for not spending time in His Word daily. I learned along the way that I trust in God who lead me in what I need to learn. There are times I'm not in His Word. However, I continue to pray and worship God. He makes sure I'm being fed. I feel my Bible studies and devotions are deeper when he leads me and teaches me. It's not about the quantity, it's about the quality. It's about you and Him. That is what is most important. God wants to spend time with you. After a visit with him, you feel so content and at peace.
